Last August, Final Fantasy XV, the new installment of the Square Enix saga, reached 7.7 million units sold worldwide. Today it has been confirmed that this figure has increased to 8.1 million units, achieving 400,000 sales in the last month.

Taking into account that Final Fantasy XV will turn two years in November, it is not a bad number. The release of the PC version and the Royal Edition have probably helped the sales push.

Square Enix, in addition, has indicated that it will celebrate the second anniversary of the game during the Tokyo Game Show, which will take place from September 20th to 23rd.

Taking into account that it is expected that in 2019 four new episodes will arrive for this game, it is possible that the company could make an interesting announcement at the Tokyo Game Show.

Final Fantasy XV is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
