Kingdom Hearts 3 is officially getting DLC later this year. Confirmed ahead of E3, Square Enix released a trailer for the new add-on, titled
Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind, which teases a continuation of the story and new gameplay additions.
The trailer specifically shows Riku, Roxas, and Aqua as playable characters during the Keyblade Graveyard sequence, and also teases Sora wielding the Oathkeeper Keyblade and taking on a new form in a white outfit.
The trailer also contains some intriguing story bits, including what appears to be a Young Master Xehanort speaking with the Master of Masters. Another scene shows Luxor and Xigbar speaking, which is tied to the
Kingdom Hearts 3 epilogue.
Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind doesn't have a release date, just a vague "winter" launch window. It's possible we'll see more during the Square Enix live stream for E3 on Monday, June 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
