Yesterday we reported that Kingdom Hearts III had been leaked, as some fans of the series have already managed to get hold of Square Enix's long-awaited title in the Kingdom Hearts series; spoiling the game for people who have patiently been waiting to finally get their copy of the game.

Today, the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account has shared a message by Kingdom Hearts III Game Director Tetsuya Nomura; in which he lets fans of the series know that they, as a company, are aware of this leak and are currently working on making this whole situation better for fans. He also asks the people who has already managed to get one of these leaked copies not to share videos of Kingdom Hearts III online, which may contain several spoilers.

The Kingdom Hearts III leak reminds us of the massive leak Nintendo underwent with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which had some people getting access to the game weeks before the title was released this past 7th of December. It goes to show that people will do whatever they can to be the first to get these games, but the real problem is these people spoiling the games' content before players get to experience them themselves.

We're aware that a small portion of KINGDOM HEARTS III has been circulatingonline before its official release. We are also aware as to how this has all happened. We're sorry to see this caused concern amongst our fans who are excited for the release.

The whole team has been working together since yesterday night (Japan time) to investigate what we can do to better this situation, but first we would like to ask that you do not share these videos.

The game's epilogue and secret movie, which are the biggest spoilers in this game, are planned to be released at a later date just in case, so they will not be shown before the game's release.

We want everyone to be able to equally experience the full game after its release, so we ask for your continued support on this matter.

We're also very grateful that our fans have been warning each other already about the spoilers. Thank you very much.

We're one month out from the release. Let's enjoy the game together when it releases on January 29, 2019.
