After being rumored for a while, Square Enix has finally released an official trailer for the award-winning
Octopath Traveler on PC, as well as revealing that the game will become available on Steam on the
7th of June.
Octopath Traveler is a role-playing game that harkens back to the classic RPGs, with graphics that resemble those seen during the 16-Bit era; with charming sprites and Square Enix's trademarked HD2D graphics.
The game, originally released last year as an exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch, had been rumored to be making its way to PC, and
Square Enix even confirmed this rumor last week by accidentally announcing the game before they were supposed to, as they were quick to delete said post.
Now that Square Enix has, once again, officially confirmed that
Octopath Traveler will release on Steam in June, we get a new trailer that shows off some of the great reviews the game has got since it originally released.
Take a look:
Eight travelers. Eight adventures. Eight roles to play in a new world brought to life by Square Enix. Explore each traveler’s story and use their abilities in and out of battle. Will you expand your horizons as the Merchant or track down a traitor as the Warrior? Where will you go? Who will join you? You alone can choose your path.
Octopath Traveler will be available on Steam on the 7th of June.
