Owlcat Games and Prime Matter are pleased to announce that the multi-award-winning, critically acclaimed role-playing game Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will launch for consoles on September 29, 2022.
The epic RPG will be accessible on Nintendo Switch (via the Cloud), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility), in both physical and digital versions.
On September 8, all PC owners of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will receive a free upgrade to the game's Enhanced Edition, which will then become the standard version for the console release.
In addition to today's much awaited platform announcement, Owlcat Games has also revealed that The Treasure of the Midnight Isles, the third paid DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, will debut on August 11. The Midnight Isles, which are dispersed over the pitch-black ocean, contain immeasurable treasures (and horrors unspeakable). Step on board the evil, cursed ship and sail into the unknown in search of your wealth... or doom.
-Play through the main campaign or a standalone rogue-like mode to explore a vast archipelago full with treasures and perils.
-Experiment with various builds and party lineups by utilizing the Pathfinder role-playing system's tremendous variety, including the mythic paths.
-Death is merely a setback. Even if a group dies, its progress can still be useful to you in later playthroughs.
-Put fresh magic potions and scrolls on your belt, equip new magical weapons, and take on both old and new foes.
-Find out the truth about the ultimate prize you're looking for as well as the mystery of the ship that transports you on your adventures.
