Of all the announcements that Square Enix has made over the past year,
Trials of Mana finally releasing in the West is probably the one that has gotten the best reception from fans of the role-playing genre; the same fans that didn't get to play the game because it was never localised outside of Japan.
Trials of Mana is also a 3D remake of
Seiken Densetsu 3, so the game has been pretty much been unaltered from a gameplay standpoint, but it has been completely redesigned in order to update its graphics and make the game look like a proper current gen title.
Square Enix has already introduced players to every single one of the characters that will be playable in
Trials of Mana, and today they have released a brand-new gameplay trailer that is now introducing players to the game's gameplay mechanics; showing off a tonne of combat for players to know what to expect once the game releases next month.
Just last month, we got information that seemed to suggest that
Square Enix would be releasing a playable demo of Trials of Mana, so there is still a chance for the alleged demo to become available at some point before the game releases. In the meantime, be sure to check out the gameplay trailer and let us know what you think.
