Warner Bros. Games has shared a new trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, a new game based on the magical sport from the Harry Potter franchise. The new trailer, officially titled "Welcomes Students," highlights the various game modes and features, while also informing us of the game's release date and pre-order details.
Developed by Unbroken Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games' Portkey Games label, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions lets players hop onto their flying broomsticks and immerse themselves in the popular sport invented by author J. K. Rowling.
The trailer gives us a look at the game's single player Career Mode as well as Online Competitive Mode. We also get a sneak peek at the character creator and a few of the iconic playable characters, such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Draco Malfoy. It actually looks like a fairly robust character customization system, allowing you to choose various hairstyles, outfits, broomsticks (each of which can be upgraded), and more. We also get a glimpse of the Quidditch World Cup Stadium and some other stadiums set in iconic wizarding world locations.
It was confirmed that the Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will launch on September 3, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic). The Physical Deluxe Editions will arrive on PlayStation and Xbox consoles later in the year on November 8, 2024. A Nintendo Switch version is coming this Holiday season.
The Digital Standard Edition is priced at $29.99, but PlayStation Plus members will be able to claim and download it for free between September 3rd and September 30th, 2024. PS Plus members will also be able to redeem the Supreme Broom Skin.
The Digital and Physical Deluxe Editions will cost $39.99. This version comes with the base game as well as the Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor House Packs and 2,000 gold to spend in-game. Here's what's included in each Pack:

Warner Bros. Games was sure to note that this is a complete, standalone Quidditch experience with no plans for microtransactions "at this time." The Gold mentioned above is only earned through gameplay progression.
