Not an hour ago, Activision and Vicarious Visions surprised fans of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series by revealing that a remaster collection that brings together Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 will be released for current-gen consoles in September.
Tony Hawks' Pro Skater 1 + 2 is bringing with it every single one of the levels from the first iconic titles, while also managing to pull off the impossible by bringing back every single one of the songs from both of the games' amazing soundtracks; soundtracks, mind you, that are considered to be the best out there.
Activision also released a nostalgic, and exciting announcement trailer for the game that gave us a pretty good idea of what Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will look like when it hit store shelves later this year. We do get to see some gameplay but fans may be left wanting to see more.
Fortunately, the first gameplay video from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 was gracefully given to us by Hollywood actor Jack Black, who is joined by Tony Hawk himself — as well as other familiar faces from the skateboarding world that fans will immediately recognise — to play the recently announced remaster.
