Easy Days Studios' Skater XL is only a week away from finally becoming available — well, except for the Nintendo Switch version that still doesn't have an official release date — and it looks like it is the game that fans of the skateboarding genre have long been waiting for.
Some players have already had the chance to play the beta version of Skater XL, and this is something that has also helped the developers polish some final details; great news, considering that the skateboarding community has played an active role, and the people over at Easy Day Studios have listened.
What's more, the community itself has helped design some levels for Skater XL, and these levels will be added to the game for everybody to enjoy. Seriously, mad props to the developers for being so involved with the skateboarding community.
Also, and just last week, in fact, Easy Day Studios revealed the list of bands that will be in the soundtrack for Skater XL. As players well know thanks to series like Activision's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Electronic Arts' Skate, music is one of the most important aspects of a skateboarding game through and through, and Skater XL will not disappoint in this regard.
Today, Easy Day Studios has shared a new gameplay trailer for the soon-to-be-released Skater XL, which introduces players to a massive skate park that will definitely become one of the go-to stages for players who want a little bit more of a challenge: The Big Ramp.
