There's a chance you remember a small, boring, but also incredibly controversial game
Hatred. The isometric shoot 'em up was the third video game in the history of gaming that received an AO ("
Adults Only") rating for extreme violence and strong sexual content, only behind
Manhunt 2 and the unreleased
Thrill Kill. The developers responsible for this mess has also made
IS Defense, a game set in politically-fictional 2020 where the expansion of ISIS went out of hand.
Their next game,
Ancestor Legacy won't rely only on empty controversies, as Polish Destructive Creations promises to deliver a squad-based real time strategy with a strong focus on tactics. It looks like they will team up with Warhorse Studios, the Czech developer which gave us
Kingdom Come: Deliverance. According to Warhorse's Facebook, "
Kingdom Come: Deliverance joins forces with Ancestors Legacy! We have a cool surprise for you, that we've prepared together with our friends at Destructive Creations."
The studio announced that this surprise will be revealed on May 23, 2018. But what can it possible be? Well, knowing that
Ancestors and
Kingdom share the "medieval" DNA, there's a chance both universes will collide and the studios will give you an opportunity to play as a Bohemian unit in
Ancestors, or maybe Warhorse will just add new Viking, Anglo-Saxon, German, and Slav skins into
Deliverance.
