The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is a game initially released for the Game Cube back in 2003; getting a fantastic HD remaster for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 for it's 10th anniversary.
Regarded by many fans as one of the best titles in the long-running
The Legend of Zelda series,
The Wind Waker wasn't always a fan-favourite; mainly due to the choices Nintendo made in the art style department.
Oddly enough, it's the art style what has made the game so memorable, as the HD remaster even proves that the game looks great even by today's standards.
Everything in
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has a minimalist style to it, which gives the whole game a unique look and charm.
A very interesting bit of information has recently surfaced — although it is very likely that some hardcore fans have already noticed this — revealing that quite a bunch of characters in
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker actually share the same body model.
The news comes from Twitter user
@JasperRLZ, who has made a short video showing some of the NPCs that can be found in Windfall Island, proving that most of them share the same body; with the exception that heads and clothes have been changed for obvious reasons.
Nintendo probably wanted to reduce costs by using just the one model for several characters; a smart decision by the developer given that it's not very noticeable until someone points it out.
Take a look:
In this timeless classic with a unique and colorful "toon-shaded" art style, players guide Link as he sets out on the massive Great Sea to find his kidnapped sister. You will sail the seas in search of lost islands, fight fearsome enemies, take on mighty bosses, and seek out the legendary Triforce.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is currently available for the Nintendo Wii U.
