Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is an upcoming port of the 2011 game for the Wii,
Kirby's Epic Yarn, coming out exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on the 8th of March. Being a proper port of the Wii title,
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn will be including all of the levels found in the original plus some extra features that fans will likely appreciate.
Much like other Nintendo 3DS ports like
Poochy & Yoshi's Wooly World,
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and
Luigi's Mansion — to name but a few —
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn will see some downgrade when it comes to the graphics but, from what we've been able to see from the trailers that Nintendo has released, the game looks pretty good in its own right.
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn for the Nintendo 3DS is a great way for people who missed out on the original title to pick it up and enjoy this charming, and relaxing adventure on-the-go. If trailers have not yet convinced players to give this game a shot, Nintendo has released a demo for the game, which can be downloaded today from the Nintendo 3DS eShop but there's one catch; it's only available in Europe, as of now.
Nintendo has yet to reveal if
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn will also be getting a demo outside of Europe, but it is very likely that this is the case so we'll have to keep our eyes peeled for that almost-inevitable announcement. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer for the demo.
Take a look:
In Patch Land, practically everything, from enemies to obstacles to who knows what else, is entirely made of yarn – even robots! And to beat courses made of yarn, you've got to use moves made of yarn.
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn will become available for the Nintendo 3DS on the 8th of March.
