Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is a game that came out for the Nintendo 3DS just a couple of weeks ago, as well as a port of the acclaimed
Kirby's Epic Yarn title released for the Nintendo Wii in October of 2010.
Upon its release,
Kirby's Epic Yarn on the Wii was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews — with critics praising the level design, art direction, and clever execution of the yarn concept in and of itself.
As it was expected,
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn for the Nintendo 3DS had a similar reception to the one its predecessor got, as the quality and charm of the game was kept intact; even when it is a port on a console less powerful than the Wii, which meant that some graphical compromises could've been made.
Now that
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn has been out for a couple of weeks, and doing as great as it has, Nintendo has decided to release an accolades trailer that flaunts some of the great reviews the game has been getting; proving that this game is more than a mere port of the original.
Take a look:
In Patch Land, practically everything, from enemies to obstacles to who knows what else, is entirely made of yarn – even robots! And to beat courses made of yarn, you've got to use moves made of yarn.
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is currently available for the Nintendo 3DS.
