During E3 2019, Bloober Team announced their newest game. It's a psychological horror based on the popular movie franchise that began back in 1999 — and is best known for spawning the found footage subgenre. It seems clear that the game itself is also inspired by such other horror games as
Outlast,
Slender, and
Resident Evil.
You assume the role of a man who ventures into an ominous forest in order to search for a missing person. You're accompanied by only your camcorder and dog (whose name is Bullet). You quickly come to realise that there's more to the forest than natural laws would allow but, nonetheless, you push on.
Blair With released for both the Xbox One and PC back in August 2019. In November, it was announced that it would be coming to the PlayStation 4 and it arrived on the console a month later — more on that here. Bloober Team has now announced that they're going to complete the core quartet by bringing Blair Witch to the Nintendo Switch.
It's said that Blair Witch will be available for the Nintendo Switch from Summer 2020. An precise release date hasn't yet been announced. However, Bloober Team has released a trailer for the Nintendo Switch release which shows off the game in action on the platform — you can check that out below (via Bloober Team):
