If there is one thing that Nintendo does better than any other company is bringing people together to play their games and, by the looks of it,
Super Mario Party will not be the exception.
Super Mario Party is coming out on the
5th of October and Nintendo has released a new trailer that simply reminds us how fun it is to play these games with friends, or family members. Do not be mistaken, though, bringing people together does not mean keeping friendships alive, especially with series like
Mario Party—although, let's be honest, it is always fun seeing your friends sorely losing to you.
Much like their previous party title,
1-2-Switch, Nintendo is really pushing the Joy-Cons as the only medium to playing
Super Mario Party—which isn't entirely a bad thing but the game may be leaning a little bit more towards being gimmicky.
Super Mario Party is the eleventh entry in the main series of games, and will be allowing up to four players to join the party as they play against each other in either free-for-all, 1v3, or 2v2 modes. These minigames can be played either online or in classic couch multiplayer, and the Nintendo Switch's portability will allow players to take the party anywhere they go when the game releases next week.
Take a look:
The Mario Party™ series is coming to the Nintendo Switch™ system with super-charged fun for everyone! The original board game style has been kicked up a notch with deeper strategic elements, like specific Dice Blocks for each character.
Super Mario Party will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 5th of October.
