Well, 2018 is now officialy behind us and Amazon has just revealed a list of the best-selling video game-related items, which has Nintendo and Bandai Namco's
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the best-selling video game-related item and best-selling video game of 2018.
Like previously mentioned, the list that Amazon revealed does not only consider video games, but also other items like controllers, consoles, gift cards, and video-game related accessories of all kinds. Interestingly enough,
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best-selling game of 2018, with the 10$ and 20$ PlayStation Store Gift Cards taking the second and third place on the video game-related items list.
Rockstar Games'
Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PlayStation 4 is the second best-selling video game on Amazon's list, but takes the 14th place on the list of video game-related items as a whole; with
Super Mario Party getting the third and 15th place on the video game and video game-related items lists, respectively.
The list, however, shows that most Amazon buyers chose to purchase games on a Sony or Nintendo console, with titles on the Xbox One not even making the Top 10 of best-selling video games.
