As one of the companiy's most creative products in recent years, the
Nintendo Labo is giving players the chance to be even more creative by coming up with new ways to interact with the software the game comes with.
Nintendo Labo offers players the tools to pretty much do anything they want while, at the same time, also providing them with cardboard cutouts to give them a helping hand when trying out the product for the first time. When the
Labo released, it included two kits: Toy-Con 1: Variety Kit and Toy-Con 2: Robot Kit—
being promoted by The Science Guy himself, Bill Nye.
They Toy-Con 1 Kit even came with a bike handle that was later
implemented into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in order to give players a more immersive experience—further proving that it was more than just a gimmick.
Now, Nintendo are introducing the new Toy-Con 3: Vehicle Kit, that expands on the idea of using
Labo as a bike handle by introducing a wheel, plane, and submarine handles that players can activate in real time by simply switching the cardboard handle and introducing the right Joy-Con controller—allowing the Joy-Con's infrared sensor detect which handle it'se being slid into.
