Pikmin 3 was originally released in July of 2013 for the Nintendo Wii U, which is the main reason why most people has not had the chance to play it; the Wii U is one of Nintendo's biggest commercial flops, and that obviously affected Pikmin 3's sales negatively in the long run.
When Nintendo announced Pikmin 3 Deluxe, fans of the series were ecstatic to know that this game will be including all of the DLC that was previously released, as well as some new modes in order to keep things fresh. While it may not be the long-awaited Pikmin 4, this is still good news for fans of the series.
In case you haven't been keeping track, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is finally releasing this week — on Friday the 30th of October, to be more precise — and Nintendo Switch owners will finally be able to get their hands on this deluxe version of the Wii U's acclaimed real-time strategy title.
Now that we're only a few days away from the game's release, there may still be some players out there that don't know exactly what is it that Nintendo has added to Pikmin 3 Deluxe in order to make it, well, a deluxe edition, but the latest gameplay trailer may give them a better idea of what to expect from the game come Friday.
