Ever since Nintendo and Microsoft announced that they were collaborating to bring players a proper cross-platform experience in Minecraft, both companis have shown their interest in taking things a few steps further.
Recently,
Microsoft announced that they would be bringing Xbox Live to the Nintendo Switch and, while they did not specify what exactly this means for any of the companies, it is more proof that Nintendo and Microsoft have learnt to coexist beyond anything any of their fans thought even possible.
A new rumor is doing the rounds suggesting that Microsoft is planning on bringing the Xbox Game Pass library to the Nintendo Switch in the form of actual ports.
Some games such as Gears of War, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Halo have already been rumored, which is great news — if true — for fans who would like to take these games on-the-go on their Switch.
This new report would seemingly reveal that the game specifically mentioned is Ori and the Blind Forest, no mention of the other two. According to the alleged information, Microsoft would also be planning on using the Project xCloud streaming service in order to make the Nintendo Switch able to play these far more demanding Xbox games.
Until Nintendo or Microsoft confirm these rumors, however, all we can do is speculate. Both companies benefitting from each other is great for fans too, so we'll keep our fingers crossed and eagerly wait to know more about this.
