Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is only one week away and in this brand new Character Highlight trailer we are introduced to four more playable characters from
The Legend of Zelda series, plus the series' main villain Ganondorf.
Love her or hate her, the Spirit Within the Master Sword Fi, from
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, will be joining the roster as this time is the player who will be telling her what to do. From
Skyward Sword we're also introduced to the Demon Lord Girahim, who could be considered Fi's evil equivalent, and one of the main antagonists in the game.
Greedy, but trustworthy merchant Ravio, from
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, as well as the Artsy Sorceror of Lorule Yuga, are also joining massive cast of 29 playable characters from the game. Both of these characters used to come with the
A Link Between Worlds DLC pack and are finally playable from the get-go in
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.
Main villain from
The Legend of Zelda Ganondorf is the one getting the spotlight in this trailer. He's the man behind the events in
Hyrule Warriors and is also a playable character in
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, being the Hyrule Warriors games the only ones in which this character has ever been playable. Players can also play as the evil Ganon beast in the game's
Challenge Mode under
Ganon's Fury.
