For the longest time, both Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics remained quiet on which members ot he Avengers would make it into MARVEL's Avengers. It was eventually revealed that the characters the game would be focusing on at launch would be Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, and Captain America.
To the surprise of many, the developers also revealed that Kamala Khan would play a big role in the game as one of the main characters, to the point MARVEL's Avengers is mainly a story about the Avengers, but through Kamala's point of view as a new member of the team.
Recently, Square Enix has been releasing some tutorial/introduction videos that focus on the Avengers in the form of "Superior Seminars" episodes. The first episode focused on Tony Stark, who tought players how to properly beam their enemies, while the second episode was all about The Incredible Hulk.
Today, the developers have released yet another "Superior Seminars" video, this time focusing on Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel herself, who also teaches players all about her newfound — and quite unique, to be fair — abilities; giving players even more reasons to get excited for the soon-to-be-released MARVEL's Avengers.
Check it out:
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
MARVEL's Avengers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on Friday the 4th of September; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release date to be determined.
