Rumours about a Mass Effect collection have been doing the rounds for quite a while now. In September, Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered popped up on Portuguese retailer GamingReplay but it was promptly removed from the website. According to this information, the game would launch for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

This didn't stop other retailers from listing this alleged Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered title. In fact, the game was later listed on a Czech retailer's website, adding fuel to the rumours, and unofficially confirming that this collection was indeed a reality; it only needed official confirmation.

Rumours didn't stop there either, as more information actually pointed to the game actually being called Mass Effect Legendary Edition and revealed to only be releasing for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is the latest bit of unofficial information we've gotten from retailers and video game industry insiders.

As it turns out, new information suggests that the long-rumoured Mass Effect Legendary Edition  could be officially revealed by Electronic Arts and BioWare rather sooner than later; as soon as tomorrow, as revealed by trustworthy sources.

To be more precise, VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb recently shared a blurred image of what seems to be the cover for the unannounced Mass Effect collection. Things get even more interesting as GameInformer's Liana Ruppert teases that information about Mass Effect will be shared tomorrow morning by the developers.

What's more, and shout outs to the people over at DualShockers for pointing us in the right direction, Liana Ruppert commented on a Mass Effect-related article posted by DualShockers, where she mentions that she's had that image Grubb shared on his Twitter account for a few months now, and that it was rather irresponsible of his to post it on social media, as it may be problematic for the people working on whatever it is that this unannounced project is.

Whatever the case, fans of the Mass Effect series should keep an eye out for tomorrow's official news from Electronic Arts and BioWare; perhaps it isn't only the rumoured Mass Effect Legendary Edition that ends up getting an announcement. Fingers crossed.
