A fan of the long-running Mana series by Square Enix, has recently shared an amazing 2D animated tribute to Secret of Mana, which is one of the iconic role-playing series' all-time classics; a game that Square Enix actually gave a 3D remaster a couple of years ago.
This amazing 3D animated video was created by YouTube user Benoit TRANCHET, who reveals that he began working on this project in August of 2018(which is actually a few months after the remaster was released) and was finally able to complete in December of last year.
Benoit TRANCHET also credits Mariano Frumento(composer) and Oliver Smith(sound design/final mix) — who helped produce this fan-animated project, an recapture the same levels of epicness that the developers gave Secret of Mana when it was first released in the early 1990s.
While Trials of Mana may have released just a couple of days ago, and is the game that most players are talking about — particularly those who have been fans of the Mana series for a while now — it is really nice seeing Secret of Mana getting the love it rightfully deserves. So don't waste any more time reading this, and give this phenomenal fan animation a watch.
