Sega has recently announced that the Sega Mega Drive Mini(or Sega Genesis Mini, depending on where you live) will not be releasing on Europe and the Middle East on the 19th of September like in every other region.

The good news is that fans will not have to wait too long for the console to release, as the announcement also stated that the Sega Mega Drive Mini, will now be releasing only a couple of weeks later in Europe and the Middle East; finally becoming available on the 4th of October.

Sega didn't ellaborate on the reason of the delay, simply stating that the Sega Mega Drive Mini's release date was pushed back due to "unavoidable logistical challenges", and that they appreciate the fans' patience.
