Save the date as Ubisoft E3 2018 press briefing #UbiE3 will take place on Monday, June 11 at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET and here's what we should expect to (and what to not) see during the upcoming press conference!

Ubisoft has announced that the publisher's annual E3 media briefing will be held on Monday, June 11 at 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET. Planting its flag means that the French company has joined the already confirmed E3 2018 attendees as Electronic Arts' EA Play will take place on Saturday, June 9th At 11AM, Microsoft's on Sunday June 10th At 1PM PT / 4PM ET, and Bethesda's on June 10 at 6:30 p.m. PT/9:30 p.m. ET/2:30 a.m. GMT on June 11/11:30 a.m. AEST on June 11. Sony and Nintendo are still waiting with confirmations of their conferences' dates.

The French developer promises more details to come, but it's not hard to guess what Ubisoft will show during the E3 2018. Ubisoft Massive has confirmed that Tom Clancy's The Division 2 exists so it makes sense to expect more (or rather any) information during the briefing. The Crew 2 has been pushed back to June 29, meaning that Ivory Tower's game will also be promoted at E3. Beyond Good & Evil, Skull & Bones and Starlink: Battle for Atlas will also receive some updates and trailers for sure.

Ubisoft also announced last year that it was working on a new game set in James Cameron’s Avatar universe, so it would make sense to slowly start promoting the project, even if it won't be released in 2018 or even 2019. You can bet that Ubisoft will also bring Just Dance 2019. According to Ubisoft's AI, Watch_Dogs 3 is in an active development and there's a big chance we will see it at the E3.

Michael Ironside returned as Sam Fisher in last week's Special Operation #1 in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: WIldands, so we hope that it was an informal way to tease a new Splinter Cell. On the other hand, you should not expect to see the sequels to Assassin's Creed: Origins, Ghost Recon WIldlands, Steep, For Honor, Far Cry 5, and Rainbow Six: Siege as these games are actively supported and updated.

We would love to see a new child of Nintendo & Ubisoft's cooperation, just like one of the best surprises of 2017, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. The game sells well and Ubisoft already confirmed that working with The Big N is a pure joy, so maybe the talented from Ubisoft Milano will announce their next project during the upcoming conference. But you shouldn't expect to see a new Prince of Persia, H.A.W.X. Settlers, and Driver as these franchises are all but officially dead.

That's still a lot of games to talk about and don't forget that the publisher is always ready to surprise the audience with unannounced projects and brand new IPs, and a start of a brand new Ubisoft series is scheduled to be released in this fiscal year, so there are many (maybe even too many) reasons to be excited about UbiE3. It's still unknown if Aisha Tyler will return to host the conference (but she should [she's great, you're wrong]). E3 2018 will be held June 12-14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
