Genres may come in all shapes and sizes, but it goes without saying that when a particular genre works, it works until the end of time. Any fan of literature or entertainment can't say no to a good mystery, and that is exactly what makes InnerSloth's Among Us such an instant classic.
Available on both mobile phones and PC, the real-time mystery game sees a group of players working on a space station where at least one or two of them are imposters tasked with killing everyone. Once a body is found, it's up to the players to convene and determine who the imposter is.
Due in part to the game's simplicity, the title skyrocketed to superstardom, thanks to streamers and word of mouth. The game has been such a hit that even the sequel that was planned ended up being canceled! Recently, a developer for the game shared some of the early designs for the crewmates, and its a testament to how effective the KISS method truly is.
These designs are sure to cause a few chuckles, to say the least. We would love to hear which of these designs you like most in the comments below!
The game follows a group of crewmates which, among them, has an impostor whose goal is sabotage their space-ship and kill everyone.
Among Us is available now for PC, iOS and Google Play!
