Valve has announced the launch of a free version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the veteran and famous video game of action in first-person oriented to the multiplayer and the competitive scene. It is an edition of the game limited to offline mode that is available on Steam.
Valve's intentions are clear: obtain a larger base of players. CSGO in its free variant presents the same playable specifications of the main title, but those interested in this version of the game will only be able to play offline games against bots both in the maps of the game and in custom maps of the community.
Basically, nothing to play through the internet or participate in multiplayer games. However, this facet will have some representation, since the free to play edition will also allow us to see the official matches of the most important championships in GOTV, the game's visualization tool, having full and total control during the transmission.
While the new offline version of the game is completely free, the complete and classic version of the popular shooter is currently at $8.10 in Steam.
Counter Stike: Global Offensive is available on Steam for the PC.
