Borderlands 3 players who were looking forward to the scheduled difficulty scale down of the
Maliwan Takedown Event got a rude awakening as the time came and went and Gearbox's promises were not fulfilled, which lead fans to wonder why that could be and exactly what was happening.
In a tweet from the official
Borderlands Twitter account, it states that the problem is technical issues, though that seems to be what most people say when running into a problem with a game. The limited information contained in the message to fans thanks them for their patience but offers nothing more than that the scale-down of the
Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite would be postponed to a later - unspecified - date.
