The Astronauts have released another brief teaser trailer for
Witchfire, the famous Polish developer’s upcoming shooting extravaganza that will allow you to channel your inner inquisitor as the punishing hand of the medieval Church that has only one main goal: killing witches and other deadly monsters.
According to the studio,
Witchfire will hit stores "
when its done," but The Astronauts have something special for you make the wait a bit easier – a new 12 second preview of what they are working on.
As a reminder, The Astronauts debuted in 2014 with
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, one of the most praised so-called "walking simulators" in recent memory. In
Witchfire, which was revealed during The Game Awards 2017, the development studio will try to combine their traditional narrative with the gameplay mechanics and fun of
Painkiller, a classic title designed by the studio's CEO Adrian Chmielarz.
While it's still unclear when
Witchfire releases, be sure to take a closer look at the title down below:
During the 300 years of European witch hunts that started in the 15th century, tens of thousands of women, men and children lost their lives due to superstition, politics and profit. But that’s our history and our world. In the world of Witchfire, witches are real. And you are the punishing hand of the Church.
Witchfire is coming to PC and doesn't have an official release date.
