Since its release in 2015, Heroes of the Storm has filled its roster of playable heroes with characters from other Blizzard franchises including Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, Overwatch, and The Lost Vikings. Three years later, the MOBA is ready for its first Nexus-born hero, Orphea, heir of Raven Court and daughter of the nefarious Raven Lord. As of today, she is now playable in Heroes of the Storm.

First revealed at BlizzCon earlier this month, Orphea is a ranged assassin "who dances around her enemies while using spells to empower her attacks. She boasts incredibly high damage and decent survivability. Both a cinematic trailer revealing her origin story and a champion spotlight highlighting her abilities were released as well.

Rejecting the dark power her father had begun to consort with, Orphea tried to run away from the Raven Lord’s Influence. But after witnessing King’s Crest fall to his machinations, she was convinced she needed to stand and fight. She now vows to protect the innocent – as a Hero of the Nexus!

Celebrating Orphea's arrival in Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard is bringing back Twitch drops and are unlocking Orphea for free for everyone who attended BlizzCon or purchased a Virtual Ticket.
