Teamfight Tactics has officially launched on iOS and Android devices today. For those unfamiliar, Teamfight Tactics is Riot Games' take on the autobattler genre, which exploded in popularity late last year with the likes of Autochess, Dota Underlords and more. TFT is thematically inspired by Riot's popular MOBA League of Legends.
Teamfight Tactics has been around for a few months on PC and is actually in its third set (season). Dubbed TFT: Galaxies, the latest set has a space theme for both its playable champions and cosmetics.
Teamfight Tactics Mobile features cross-play with PC. Players on both platforms are able to compete seamlessly with one another in both normal and ranked play, although the mobile version does not allow for in-game chat due to lack of screen space. TFT Mobile has been designed to feel as close as possible to the PC version so switching between platforms should feel natural.
In addition to cross-play, Teamfight Tactics also features cross-progression between PC and mobile. Any progress earned towards the new Galaxies Pass and Galaxies Pass+ will count regardless of what platform you're playing on. Additionally, the cosmetics that you unlock — like Little Legends, Arena skins, etc. — are supported on mobile as well.
Teamfight Tactics is a free-to-play game on PC and mobile with the option to purchase the Galaxies Pass+ (season pass). On iOS, you must have an iPhone 6S or newer, while Android requires devices with 2GB+ of RAM, Android version 7 or newer, Open GL Version 3+, and a 64-bit OS.
