The Silent Hill 2: Enhanced Edition fan project focuses on offering a PC game mod that updates and reviews the technical aspect of Konami's horror classic.

The project is presented as "the culmination of years of hard work by a group of talented programmers and modders to correct and improve the PC version of Silent Hill 2".

As they point out, they have corrected game errors, made some adjustments in the control and put all their attention on improving the appearance of the title with a great level of detail.

Users of the original game, which was published in Europe in 2003 for Windows, who want to enjoy this mod should check the official website of the project, where they will find the necessary files and instructions for its installation.

If you are more of the controller type of gamer, don't fret, the option for controller is available. You don't have to use the mouse and keyboard. The website offers really detailed instructions, do not be afraid of getting lost.

Silent Hill 2 pushes the boundaries of horror. Return to the dense fog and frightening darkness of the eerie, haunted town of Silent Hill to face new enemies with a new set of terrifying weapons. Features enhanced weather, gore and visual expressions with a soundtrack presented in dramatic Dolby Surround.
