The Creators Of THIS WAR OF MINE And FROSTPUNK Are Already Working On A New (Depressing) Project Titled "8"

Frostpunk sold 250k units in the first 66 hours, but the developers behind This War of Mine and the Anomaly series don't have time to celebrate, already teasing their next, depressing, and emotional game "8"...

11 bit studios has many reasons to celebrate as their latest game, Frostpunk is selling crazy good with 250,000+ copies sold already only on PC. The Polish company is currently working hard on the Frastpunk PlayStation 4 and Xbox one versions, thinking about building on the game with post-release content and mostly free expansions, and tease their next project, called "8” under working title.

"When you make a war game that is eventually about victims and suffering, it is risky but then the community of gamers from all around the world helped us a lot with great feedback, with spreading the word, with ideas for more content, with modding support," said 11bit studios' representative in an interview with Segment Next. "The community support was awesome and it made the game what it is now."

Project 8 is apparently something completely different to This War of Mine and Frostpunk, but 11 bit believes it is an extraordinary experience. Sadly, there’s a ton of work to be done before they unveil any further details as the studio will miss this year’s E3. Their next big thing is the release of Digital Sun's action RPG with rogue-lite elements Moonlighter planned for May 29th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
