Players will be able to select from 12 superhero classes and will recieve a custom backstory from Cartman depending upon your selections during the player creation screen. The 12 classes available to choose from are:

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth, with players once again assumming control of the New Kid. After a disagreement over the group's superhero role playing game creates two seperate camps - Cartman's Coons and Friends and the Freedom Pals. The conflict stems over a planned superhero film franchise.
The original title of the game was South Park: The Butthole of Time but was changed by South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker after retailers informed them that they could not display and advertise a game with the word "butthole" in the title.
