Ghost of Tsushima has been very well received by PlayStation 4 players, ever since the long-awaited title finally became available a few weeks ago. The developers at Sucker Punch have really outdone themselves with their latest game, and is great to see players responding so positively to it.

PlayStation even revealed that within three days after Ghost of Tsushima was released, the game had already managed to sell over an impressive 2.4 million copies, and becoming the fastest-selling original intellectual property on the PlayStation 4; beating out Bend Studio's Days Gone and Kojima Productions' Death Stranding.

Much like pretty much every game at launch, players still reported some minor bugs that disrupted their gameplay experience. For this reason, the developers at Sucker Punch have recently announced that Update 1.0.5 for Ghost of Tsushima is currently in the works.

Yes, Update 1.0.5 for Ghost of Tsushima will be fixing some bugs, but it will also adding some new features that aim to make the experience for players an even better than before; starting with a brand-new difficulty level that will definitely test the players' skill as a samurai.

This new "Lethal difficult" mode is making enemy weapons deadlier than before. The good news is that Jin's katana will also be even deadlier, which perfectly balances combat in itself. Enemies will be more aggressive in combat, and will detect Jin faster.

Lethal diffuclty will also make attacks slightly more difficult to parry, and dodge windows will also be tweaked a bit, so players will really need to be on their toes when engaging enemies in combat.

On that same note, Sucker Punch is also introducing a lower intensity mode, which will make combat feel a tad more relaxing in regards to timing — which everyone who's already played the game is essential to survive those encounters — that will give players more time to react.

Sucker Punch promises that low intensity combat makes combat, well, less intense. Opposite to Lethal difficulty, this low intensity combat will also make enemies take longer to detect Jin.

It is also worth mentioning that Ghost of Tsushima Update 1.0.5 will actually be added later today. If you want to read the full list of changes that this update will be adding to the game, be sure to visit Sucker Punch's official website for the game by clicking right here.

In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques--the way of The Ghost--and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.

Ghost of Tsushima is currently available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
