This past week has been host to multiple announcements in regards to Insomniac Game's latest title Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. From fun text trailers to full-blown announcements, the marketing for the game is in full force!
One of the things that players have been most eager to see is the villains that will be appearing in the game. So far, the only confirmed appearances have been of the Rhino and The Tinkerer, but many more have been expected (it is a Spider-Man game) after all.
Recently, a new variant cover for issue 55 of The Amazing Spider-Man by Creative Director Brian Horton has confirmed a brand new villain. Miles' Uncle Aaron AKA The Prowler! To what capacity the game will use the character is still unknown, but it is, without a doubt, one of the most unorthodox announcements yet.
Will we see gameplay soon? For now, time will tell, but until then, we would love to hear your thoughts on the new addition in the comments below!
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is set a year after the events of Marvel's Spider-Man. The standalone follow-up kicks off just before Christmas, as a street war kicks off between "an energy corporation and a high-tech criminal army".
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales releases on the PS4 and PS5 on November 12th!
