Media Molecule's newest project Dreams has been fairly ambiguous. It's faced a lengthy development cycle, it was first teased at playstation meeting 2013 and had a formal announcement at E3 2015.
The game looked impressive and certainly seemed very ambitious but most seemed to be quite perplexed about the nature of the game. The team debuted a new trailer at The Game Awards and showcased a huge overhaul which could win a lot of naysayers over.
The newest trailer makes you aware of the scale of the game almost immediately and the art style and direction is truly something to behold. The trailer seemingly offers a first look at a potential single player experience as well as the interactive experience. There seems to be a whole plethora of assets available to the player's creativity which is highly encouraged.
The game has all sorts of settings like a neon cyber punk city, space battles and what looks a whole lot like pod racing! This could potentially be one of the most memorable titles for PS4 and you can tell the guys at media molecule have put their heart and soul into it. There's no word at this stage about a playable beta but it looks like their could be more news and details at PSX going into 2018.
What do you think? Are you excited to see more from Dreams? Do you think the game will launch in 2018, or will their be further delays?
