Developer Grinding Gear Games announced
Path of Exile's PlayStation 4 port literally hours after the end of BlizzCon 2018's opening ceremony (and the reveal of mobile
Diablo: Immortal), but the title's release date has been pushed back countless times ever since. The PS4 edition was supposed to launch in December, then in February, and now Grinding Gear confirmed that the game is coming in March.
When it comes to the Xbox One and PC versions of Gear's critically acclaimed hack'and'slash, nothing has changed yet and the next major drop of new content is expected to be revealed on February 19, 2019. This brand new expansion is coming to PC first (on March 8th), while Xbox One users will have to wait only three days longer to check this mysterious DLC out, technically launching on March 11th.
While there's no set release date for
Path of Exile's PS4 version, it will feature the aforementioned expansion and all DLCs at launch. In
Path of Exile, players take control of an Exile looking for revenge against the people that have wronged them. Much like the
Diablo series,
Path of Exile takes players to a dark fantasy world called Wraeclast in a game that brings out the best in the fantasy action RPG genre.
You are an Exile, struggling to survive on the dark continent of Wraeclast, as you fight to earn power that will allow you to exact your revenge against those who wronged you. Created by hardcore gamers, Path of Exile is an online Action RPG set in a dark fantasy world.
Path of Exile is available for Xbox One and PC NOW; the PlayStation 4 version has been delayed to March 2019.
