Game Director Confirms There Won't Be A Season Pass For God Of War

Whether it's good news or bad news, director of Santa Monica Studios Cory Barlog confirmed on Twitter that God of War won't have a season pass.

The lack of a season pass does not mean the game won't have any DLC by any means.

In comparison, many singleplayer-based games such as The Witcher 3, Bloodborne and Horizon: Zero Dawn usually skip the season pass and go right ahead into the complete edition.

It's very possible God of War will follow this same path and release a DLC in the similar form of The Frozen Wilds from Horizon: Zero Dawn or Hearts of Stone from The Witcher 3. If this comes true, a complete edition will most likely follow.

Gamestop has already revealed the collector's edition of God of War which is packed with a steel book, a lithograph an epic 9-inch statue and digital content.

God of War
is set to release early 2018 for the PS4.
