Cory Barlog has been with
God of War since the series' beginning. He started as the lead animator on 2005's
God of War and was the game director of
God of War II, and
God of War III for the first eight months of its development, he also helped in writing
God of War: Ghost of Sparta. He left SIE Sony Santa Monica in 2009 only to return to the company five years ago to start developing
God of War.
There's a small chance you've heard about this juggernaut as it's one of the best-reviewed games in not only PlayStation, but also the video gaming history. Everybody seems to enjoy the latest Kratos and his son's journey directed by Barlog and he already has some ideas for the potential sequels.
In an interview with Kotaku, Barlog confirmed that he has at least five ideas for the
God of War future. He realizes that it took him five years to make the last
God of War game and is trying really hard to make the process faster. Considering that the game is selling really well, greenlighting
God of War 2, 3, 4, and
5 shouldn’t be a problem for the foreseeable future and Sony Entertainment. Oh "boy".
From Santa Monica Studio and creative director Cory Barlog comes a new beginning for God of War. Living as a man outside the shadow of the gods, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar lands, unexpected threats, and a second chance at being a father. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfill a deeply personal quest.
God of War is available exclusively on PlayStation 4 NOW!
