Days Gone looks to be on track for a 2018 release, but Sony Bend wants your help by offering the chance to try out the game before anyone else. This will give the developer the opportunity for feedback and to iron out any kinks.

The good news is that the game is obviously close to completion and hopefully won't be getting delayed. Sony Bend are looking for "passionate video game players" in the Oregon area to come and try out the game first hand. You have to send the studio an email listing your favourite games as part of the application and it's likely that you will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. You can check out the official statement from the studio and the responsibilities of the role here.

Days Gone takes place in a post-apocalyptic world and follows Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter and drifter who lives his life on the road. The player will be in a fight for survival against the zombie-like "Freakers" who are constantly evolving. The game will give players the chance to play stealthily by using silent takedowns, or aggressively through the use of long and short-range weapons.

This is a great opportunity and if you're in Oregon it could be well worth looking into!
