Square Enix recently revealed some new concept art for the highly anticipated
Final Fantasy VII Remake, focusing on the Sector 1 of Midgar and giving us a pretty good idea of what this iconic area will look like when the game finally releases.
Considering that it's already been revealed that
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be episodic, it is very likely that this remake will have players almost exclusively traversing through Sector 1; especially since the developers want to focus on what would be considered the early bits of the original story.
Final Fantasy VII Remake won't be releasing until March of next year, so it is nice to see Square Enix giving fans something to keep them anticipating the game even more while, at the same time, making the waiting less painful. So, without further ado, be sure to check the concept art for the game down below.
In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE. AVALANCHE was secretly formed to wage a rebellion against Shinra Inc., an organisation which is absorbing Mako energy, destroying the natural resources of the planet. Cloud, a former member of Shinra's elite combat force, SOLDIER, was involved with the bombing of the Mako Reactor. Can Cloud and AVALANCHE protect the planet from the huge, formidable enemy, Shinra Inc.?
Final Fantasy VII Remake will become available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 3rd of March in 2020.
