Fans of the
Final Fantasy series will be thrilled to find out that the rumour that suggested Square Enix was planning on releasing a demo for
Final Fantasy VII Remake may actually be real, as new leaked video seems to confirm this.
We have already seen the intro for the
Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is a nostalgia trip in its own right, but this new leaked video begins giving us a look at the start screen, which clearly reveals that this is, indeed, the game's demo running on the PlayStation 4.
Now, it is important to take this news with a grain of salt, since Square Enix still hasn't officially revealed that
Final Fantasy VII Remake will even be getting a demo. If the video wasn't manipulated and that truly is the game's start screen, while also considering that this has already leaked, could mean that we may be getting a playable demo sooner than we could've anticipated.
Since this is a leaked video, chances are that it won't be available for long, so we have taken some screenshots of the game's start screen just in case the video is mysteriously removed. The video will be posted right below the screenshots.
Check it out:
In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE. AVALANCHE was secretly formed to wage a rebellion against Shinra Inc., an organisation which is absorbing Mako energy, destroying the natural resources of the planet. Cloud, a former member of Shinra's elite combat force, SOLDIER, was involved with the bombing of the Mako Reactor. Can Cloud and AVALANCHE protect the planet from the huge, formidable enemy, Shinra Inc.?
Final Fantasy VII Remake will become available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the 3rd of March in 2020.
