THE LAST OF US PART II Creative Director Gives A Peek At The Development Process So Far

Yesterday's intense trailer for The Last of Us Part II was without a doubt the highlight of Paris Games Week. In this video, Neil Druckman shows us the work Naughty Dog has put in as well as the game's themes.

Naughty Dog is a studio that has distinguished itself in the making of high quality, narrative-focused games. Key to the development of such excellent product, is Neil Druckmann, the creative director who, in my opinion, deserves to be mentioned with the likes of Hideo Kojima and Ken Levine. The standard of work displayed in games like The Uncharted franchise and The Last of Us bear his signature.

In this interview, Druckmann gives a glimpse at the work the team has put in since the game's announcement last year. Naturally, they're using a next generation version of the Naughty Dog Engine in order to create a more visceral journey for players.

A release date for the sequel has not been announced. That being said, I hope they take their time and deliver a game as good as or superior to the original.

The Last of Us Part II will be exclusive to Playsation 4.
