Sega and Yakuza Studios had been working on
Project Judge for a while, maybe even while they were still working on
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
With the latest entry in the acclaimed
Yakuza series being the last chapter in Kazuma Kiryu's story arc, it was the perfect time to reveal their brand-new intellectual property.
Project Judge then officially became
Judgment, and we learnt just last week that the game, unlike the
Yakuza series, will be featuring multiple languages; with spoken dialogue in English and Japanese, as well as subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.
Today we have even more great news about Yakuza Studios'
Judgment, as the official release date is revealed and the game will be releasing on the
25th of June — which is actually a lot sooner than anyone could've expected.
Besides featuring dual audio and multilanguage subtitles,
Judgment will also be including a pretty neat reversible cover, as well as a Ryū ga Gotoku(Yakuza Studios) sticker.
Take a look:
SEGA of America is proud to announce that the new courtroom thriller from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, Project JUDGE (working title), will release in 2019 on the PlayStation®4. Project JUDGE will feature the voice acting talents of Japanese actor/artist Takuya Kimura as the game's main protagonist, Takayuki Yagami.
Judgment will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 25th of June.
