There are a number of new and returning factions glimpsed in the first trailer for season 3 of Netflix's Castlevania anime series that all have a common goal- the utter destruction of humanity. Standing between them is the returning heroic trio of Sypha, Alucard and Trevor Belmont.  Luckily, it seems the various factions in play want to destroy one another as much as our heroes.

As with most Castlevania games, it will be interesting to see if Dracula is ultimately resurrected.  The Konami video game series eventually reveals that Count Vlad has made Death itself his servant, meaning that no matter how his body is destroyed, he'll always find a way to be resurrected. Based on the brief dialogue and scenes depicted in the trailer, we're willing to wager that the solution to the problem will be to either resurrect Dracula or have Alucard assume the position left vacant by his father.
