Netflix Has Finally Revealed The Release Date For The DRAGON'S DOGMA Anime Series

In March of last year, Capcom and Netflix announced tht they were partnering up to deliver a brand-new anime series based on the critically acclaimed Dragon's Dogma video game. Unfortunately, not many details about this upcoming show were revealed at the time.

The announcement did reveal, however, that Netflix would specifically be teaming up with Sublimation in order to produce the Dragon's Dogma anime series, while also sharing the series' synopsis; described as an action adventure about "a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans."

Again, not much information was revealed, but the news itself was enough to get fans of the game. As a matter of fact, there haven't really been any news regarding the Dragon's Dogma anime series for quite a while, so chances are that you may have even forgotten that the project even existed.

Today, Netflix has got some great news for fans of the Dragon's Dogma series, as they have announced that it will finally become available on the popular streaming platform on Thursday the 17th of September.

What's more, Netflix also gave us our very first look at the Dragon's Dogma anime adaptation with a phenomenal poster that we will be sharing down below. Fans will have to wait a little bit longer for a proper trailer, but this is still great news, as the anime is only a couple of months away from releasing.

Based on a world-famous action RPG set in an open world, Dragon’s Dogma from CAPCOM will be brought to life as a Netflix original anime series. The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an ‘Arisen’. An action adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans.

Dragon's Dogma will begin streaming, exclusively on Netflix, on the 17th of September.
