Last week, Netflix debuted the first official trailer for the highly anticiapted third season of their
Castlevania animated series. The series is based on the video game series of the same name by Konami. Trevor Belmont, Alucard, and Sypha Belnades defend the nation of Wallachia from the invading forces evil — after the defeat of Dracula himself.
The first season debuted back in July 2017 and fans had to wait until October 2018 for the second season. Well, they've had to wait even longer for the third season — almost a year and a half.
Castlevania's third season will be available to stream on Netflix from March 5th, 2020 (just about two weeks from now). The upcoming season will consist of ten episodes in total.
Along with an official trailer for the coming season, an official synopsis has surfaced online (courtesy of
ComicBook.com) and reads as follows:
"Belmont and Sypha settle into a village with sinister secrets, Alucard mentors a pair of admirers, and Isaac embarks on a quest to locate Hector." It's brief but it's sure to amp up anticipated fans' excitement ahead of the season's debut.
