The Pokémon franchise continues to expand. There's yet another animated series to add to the expansive roster. Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the newest animated series from The Pokémon Company. Originally, this series debuted in Japan back in November. However, further production was recently delayed due to COVID-19.
That's beside the point. The point is that Pokémon Journeys: The Series will soon be officially available in the United States and United Kingdom (via Toonado)! Of course, the entire animated series has been redubbed in English for ease of viewing.
Starting of with the US, Pokémon Journeys: The Series will be exclusively available to stream on Netflix from June 12th. However, the series will air on television courtesy of the POP channel in the United Kingdom — beginning on the 1st of September.
Pokémon Journeys: The Series notably includes a bunch of new content that was first introduced in the Pokémon: Sword and Shield video games — that released for the Nintendo Switch back in November 2019. Following Ash and a new protagonist named Goh, the series will chronicle their adventures as they venture across all eight realms of the franchise.
The Galar region that debuted in Pokémon: Sword and Shield will feature as well as Scorbunny, as Goh's companion, and the particularly striking Gigantamax moveset.
