In July of last year, Studio MDHR announced that an animated show based on their critically acclaimed Cuphead video game, and that it would be produced, and streamed by Netflix. The creators revealed that the show will use the same art style as the game, and that it is safe for kids to watch, but it will also cater to adults.
Not much information about The Cuphead Show was revealed, but Studio MDHR and Netflix have just released a sneak peek at the upcoming animated series; revealing who the voice actors that will bring to life Cuphead and Mugman are, and sharing some footage.
First things first, The Cuphead Show will see Tru Valentino and Frank Todaro voicing the beloved Cuphead and Mugman characters, respectively, and this sneak peek even sees them doing the voices which give us a better idea of what to expect.
Unfortunately, neither Studio MDHR nor Netflix have revealed when The Cuphead Show will be released, although they do claim that it will be soon. We'll just have to keep our eyes peeled and wait for the producers of this intriguing new series to reveal some official information.
The character-driven comedy follows the unique misadventures of the impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but easily swayed brother Mugman. Through their many misadventures across their surreal home of the Inkwell Isles, they’ve always got one another’s backs.”
